Handprint Graphic Art

I love this project because sentimentally, it preserves the size of your child’s hand and artistically, it allows them to run free. We began by tracing their hands on white cardstock. Tracing their own hands can be challenging…we did the best we could! After their hands were traced, I asked them to divide each hand into sections. Once were created separate spaces, I instructed them to fill in each section with a different design. The hands did not have to match and they could use any color marker or design they wanted to. Once it was filled in, we outlined in a black sharpie. I think the finished product shows the personality, individuality and talent in these little hands!
