Bare trees and tombstones in charcoal

Our oldest group did a graveyard scene in charcoals. Starting with the bare tree as the main focus, the kids added tombstones, moons, bats and fences. I love demonstrating to the kids how much fun it can be to blend charcoal creating the shades and shadows that are perfect for a Halloween scene!
